In March of 2005, Thoraixan/Leather and Bazra formed Chaos Incorporated which grew to be one of the largest if not the largest guild on the server with over 400 guild members.

The guild progressed rapidly and we were soon farming Molten Core, Onyxia's Lair, Zul'Gurub, & Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj. We plunged head first into Blackwing Lair and were on firm footing having beaten Razorgore the Untamed and Vaelastrasz the Corrupt.

In May of 2006, Thoraxian/Leather decided to step down as Guild Leader. He was 'tired' of the game and after careful deliberation Kelmurdoch or 'Murdoch' was selected as his successor.

Under Murdoch's Leadership, we continued to advance on his ultimate goal of beating Nefarian. Sometime during the early part of June 2006 a decision was made by the senior guild leadership to make a clean break from Chaos Incorporated and reform into a new guild, called 'P a r a g o n'.

This decision wasn't made lightly, but, with a lot of thought and soul searching. The guild leadership came to the conclusion that leaving Chaos Incorporated behind was the right thing to do and would get us away from the controlling grasp of Thoraxian/Leather.

As with all new starts, not every member was afforded the opportunity to join the new guild, just the most active top percentage.

On 7 June 2006 we officially became P a r a g o n!

During our first week of existence we pulled both Ebonroc and Flamegor for the first time and killed them!

The next loot bag, Chromaggus, soon followed and was dead within a month (July 2006).

We patiently tried various strategies on killing Nefarian and within another month (August 2006) succeeded!

Having realized his goal, of downing an end game instance boss, Murdoch decided to step down as Guild Leader for a couple of reasons. First, being Guild Leader is extremely time consuming, trying to keep the guild focused and advancing. Secondly, organizing and leading a 40 raid every week is challenging and stressful.

The baton was passed to Oneeach to lead us to even greater heights.

We've downed the first four bosses in AQ40 as of 10 October 2006.

We also ventured into Naxxramas and killed our first boss, Instructor Razuvious on 7 October 2006.

During October 2006 to January 2007 raiding was temporarily halted in preparation of the release of The Burning Crusade.
